Central Alberta Market Recap for January

This January, Central Alberta saw 224 residential sales. This was an increase of 21.1% compared to January 2017 & the highest number of sales reported for that month since 2014!
Sales in all of Alberta saw an increase of 6.8% from January 2017.
The MLS system reported 720 new residential listings in January, an increase of 12% from January 2017.
Dollar volume of January's home sales in Central Alberta totalled $65.4 million; 15.4% increase compared to January 2017.
3,032 active listings on the market at the end of month, rising 5% from active listings in January 2017. Inventory was at its highest for January, for the first time since 2011.
